The Piha Library has been operating since 1959, providing a library service to the people of Piha, Karekare and Anawhata.
The Piha Community Library is an independent library, run by volunteers and a part-time manager, to serve the Piha, Karekare and Anawhata residents, on the wild West Coast of Auckland, New Zealand. It is run by a registered charitable trust, the ‘Piha Community Library Trust’, and staffed by volunteers and part time paid manager.
