Last Friday, our project Te Kura Rau Iti had the privilege of being part of the – Learning Spaces Aotearoa 2026 school tour. The school opened its doors to attendees for a walk-through of the new learning environment, with Principal Libby generously sharing her insights into how the spaces have been functioning since the school opened and how they are supporting the students and wider school community.

We’re incredibly proud of the successful completion of the project in under 18 months, and even more proud of the collaborative effort behind it.
A huge thank you to the entire project team and to Form Building & Developments Ltd for their collaboration, commitment and hard work in bringing Te Kura Rau Iti to life.

It was fantastic to see the completed spaces being used as intended and to share the project with others working across the education and learning environments sector.

A great project, a great team, and a great outcome for the school community.

We’re currently working on a design of a 15-level mixed-use development bringing together dedicated medical office spaces, ground-floor retail and café space, extensive basement and podium parking, and residential apartments at the upper levels.

Located in the heart of Grafton, the development is positioned within close proximity to Auckland City Hospital, Starship Children’s Hospital, and the University of Auckland’s Grafton Campus.

Designed with a strong focus on healthcare, the project aims to create a contemporary, connected workplace environment that supports the needs of medical professionals while contributing to the evolving character of the Grafton precinct.

We look forward to sharing more as the project progresses.

Proud to see the successful completion of Mission Heights Primary School’s latest development.

Working alongside Livingstone Building and Ministry of Education – New Zealand, the Design & Build project has delivered six new teaching spaces as part of a multi-storey development — completed in just 10 months, three weeks ahead of schedule and within budget.

A fantastic result made possible through strong collaboration across the project team. Most importantly, the new spaces provide a high-quality learning environment for the students and staff of Mission Heights Primary School.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate 45 Mount Eden Road being named a Winner in the Housing – Multi-Unit category at the 2026 New Zealand Institute of Architecture Auckland Architecture Awards.

Over the past few years, our team has had the privilege of working alongside Graeme Scott - founder of ASC and client for this project - to bring his vision for 45 Mount Eden Road to life. Designed to provide high-quality, medium-density urban housing, the development comprises 14 dual-aspect apartments above a vibrant street-level restaurant, creating a connected and sustainable place to live.

It has been especially rewarding to watch the project evolve from concept to completion, and even more meaningful to see Graeme and his wife, Missy, now enjoying life in the home they helped shape.

Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this outstanding achievement.

Last week, our team had the pleasure of attending the 2026 Property Council New Zealand Awards, where we were proud to see three ASC Architects projects recognised:

• Te Kura Rau Iti School – Excellence Award in the Education category
• Oceania Meadowbank – Merit Award in the Civic, Health & Arts category
• Woolworths Taupō Central – Merit Award in the Sustainable Building category

These awards reflect the dedication, collaboration, and expertise of our team, clients, consultants, and project partners. We're honoured to have contributed to projects that create meaningful outcomes for communities, support wellbeing, and advance sustainable design.

While it's rewarding to see these projects recognised, what matters most is the people who use them every day. From students and teachers to residents, staff, shoppers and visitors, these spaces are designed to be experienced, enjoyed and valued by the communities they serve—and that's always the ultimate goal.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing these projects to life.

Our recently completed 45 Mount Eden project has been shortlisted for the 2026 NZIA Auckland Architecture Awards.

Located in a key city-fringe centre, 45 Mount Eden was designed to provide high-quality, middle-class housing while making a positive contribution to the surrounding urban environment. The development comprises 15 dual-aspect apartments and a street-level restaurant, creating a vibrant and connected place to live and gather. The project takes advantage of excellent urban amenity and transport connections, while incorporating a range of sustainability initiatives, including centralised services, solar electricity generation, and landscaped gardens.

We're proud to see this project recognised by the New Zealand Institute of Architects and would like to thank our client, consultants, and project team for helping bring it to life.
