📚 At BounceBack4Syria, we’re creating safe spaces where children can learn and build the skills they need to thrive.
Through activities, games and time together, children are developing skills that extend beyond the programme — learning how to communicate, work with others, express their feelings, solve problems and set goals for the future.
Here are some of our observations from week 5:
✏️ Children who play together develop friendships— building connection, communication and a sense of belonging.
✏️ Children who participate inspire others to learn — showing how courage and confidence can encourage their peers to get involved.
✏️ Children who feel supported learn to trust their feelings — and each other — creating a stronger foundation for learning and development.
These moments matter. Education isn't only about what happens in a classroom. For children affected by conflict and displacement, creating safe opportunities to learn, connect and build confidence can be an important part of moving forward.
Week 6 is the final week of the program, with the children focusing on goal setting— helping them think about what they want to achieve and the steps they can take to get there. ❤️
As we celebrate reaching 2 million people with vital humanitarian assistance, we're asking: what if we could double the difference?
Every donation to our Double the Difference campaign will be matched, helping us reach more people affected by conflict and crisis.
Together, we can help more children learn, grow and look towards the future.
2 million people. 2 million stories.
A number this big can be hard to imagine.
But behind every number is a person.
A family.
A child.
Someone trying to get through another day.
For 12 years, ReliefAid has been there with practical, life-saving help — from clean water to families in Gaza, to home repairs in Ukraine, to vital emergency support for communities affected by crisis in Syria, Afghanistan and Lebanon.
And there are still so many more people who need help.
That’s why we’re not stopping at 2 million.
Right now, every donation will be matched dollar for dollar.
Give $50. Make it $100.
Give $100. Make it $200.
Help us reach further.
Double your difference today. ❤️

TWO MILLION PEOPLE. ❤️
Today, we’re celebrating a milestone made possible by people like you.
For more than a decade, ReliefAid supporters have helped us reach people affected by conflict, displacement and disaster with practical, life-saving aid.
From Gaza to Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan and Lebanon, our teams are getting vital humanitarian assistance to people who need it most.
More than 2 million people supported.
But the need hasn’t stopped — and neither will we.
Now, we have the chance to reach even further.
Thanks to a generous donor, every dollar you give will be matched, helping your kindness go twice as far.
Your donation could help provide safe drinking water to a child like Ali — and, thanks to the match, help us reach his friend too.
Two million reached. Now let’s double the difference.
Help us reach more people like Ali and his friend.
Give today and double the difference with ReliefAid.

From helping shine a light on the needs of children and families affected by crisis, to shining on our screens — our ambassador Aidee Walker does it all. 🎬❤️
Aidee recently joined Jim Mora on RNZ to chat about her new comedy thriller Good Bones, filmmaking, acting and everything in between.
We loved hearing her give ReliefAid a shout-out too!
We’re incredibly grateful to have Aidee in the ReliefAid team and for the passion, creativity and heart she brings to the work we do.
Go Aidee! And go check out Good Bones. 👏🎬
Step inside our warehouse in Syria, where our team is busy packing food kits for families across the country.
Every kit is put together with care to give families a good mix of nutritious staples — lentils, rice, pasta, and beans for energy, plus meat, sardines, and more beans for protein and vitamins.
But good nutrition isn't the only thing we think about. Each kit also includes tea and sugar, because sharing a cup of chai with neighbours is a cherished Syrian tradition. There's oil and ghee for cooking, noodles, and tomato paste to add flavour to a shared meal.
Food kits like these are about more than getting through the day, they're about keeping traditions, and communities, alive and allowing people to live with dignity. ❤

Did you know that a simple toy or game can create a lasting impact? 🫶
Life for children in North-West Syria might be disrupted by previous conflicts, and ongoing poverty and displacement, however childhood continues. At ReliefAid, we intend to support children to thrive in these years of their lives. 🤍⚽
In Week 4 of Bounceback4Syria we had the honour of supporting children learning through play; logic games, ball skills and cooperation activities. The joy in this displacement camp says it all for the future of these children's confidence 🫶!
Before most people are awake, our team in Gaza is already at work.
Access to clean, safe drinking water is a basic human right, but in Gaza right now, it's also one of the hardest things to guarantee. Damaged infrastructure, fuel shortages, and constant disruption mean water doesn't just show up. Someone has to make it happen, every single day.
That's the job. Trucking water in, helping people fill containers, getting it to the families who need it, our team is reaching over 200 people every day with clean water, in conditions that would stop most of us in our tracks.
It's exhausting, unglamorous, essential work. And our team keeps showing up for it, day after day.
