Next Project on the bench - Mazda RX2 Racecar

This is an old Entex kit from the 70s, comes with an electric motor etc & is quite rare, it’s also 1/20 scale.
I’ll be replicating a NZ Racecar which is a replica of a 70s Japanese racecar for a very special owner.
Lots of modifications to make to this one, plenty of 3D parts, custom decals etc, I’ll be using Slowly Models 13b Rotary engine. I’ll post updates as I go!

Really enjoyed this build, pretty happy with how it come out, lots of work getting the 3D printed body to work with the Tamiya chassis, & really happy with how the engine bay turned out, lots of 3D printed parts, lots of design time, but worth it I think.

This is the all new PZY Models 1/24 RB26 engine kit!
Absolutely incredible kit, the detail is insane, & there’s 44 resin parts to make up this stunning engine!! Plus photoetch clamps & a few decals.
The size is slightly bigger than Tamiya’s RB26 engine, but the detail is 1000% better!! Even comes with a 3D printed pallet to mount the engine onto.
Will get this painted up & built shortly

Final week for my R33 GTR Wagon project, built as part of a Facebook group competition, down to the final week, still plenty to do! Got decals & pinstripes done , interior is getting there slowly.
