Producer/Engineer
Engineering and vocal production are two different skillsets but often blended together. Some people specialise in vocal production - guiding the artist for tone, emotion, layering and more. The key to a good mix is capturing something well at its source. While I could nerd out on all my gear, our priority is to capture the best takes and try out all of our creative ideas. The real skill with owning the gear is knowing that I will capture the first take perfectly in case it’s the best take of the day.

Check out what I’ve put together for NZ Music Month! It is a table with 5 mp3 players for locals to discover East Auckland musicians. It is currently in the youth space at Botany Town Centre.
