PIPE FITTER WELDER

Based in East Tamaki – Auckland

Attractive Hourly rate $38+

Penal rates for OT

Privately-owned New Zealand company based in Auckland. The business is well established, and this position is available due to growth, expansion and exciting new technology.

The Company:

· leading supplier and installer of water treatment, waste-water treatment and process systems.
· strives to deliver customer value through strong relationships and developing specialist expertise that is not readily available elsewhere in the local market
· High performing team – invests in people and latest equipment

The role requires working either at the workshop or in the field, to carry out fabrication, welding & fitting work within your competencies. We work on a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday with the occasional work outside these hours. Experience working in the Piping, Food processing or Engineering Fabrication preferred.

To be considered for the role you will need:

1. Must be in NZ with valid work visa
2. Have at least 4 years’ worth of Industry experience,
3. Must have high level of fabrication skills
4. A mathematical aptitude and mechanical knowledge – accurately able to measure from working drawings as well as strong knowledge of fabricating complex pipework spools
5. A clean and current driver licence
6. An ability to be a mentor to newer staff and apprentices
7. Sound and proven experience in an ever-changing environment where flexibility and adaptability are required when working within a small team
