๐ฆ ADVENTURERS PHONICS LEARNING โ LETTER โlโ
Our Adventurers have been having so much fun exploring our phonics letter โlโ
Yesterday, we got creative and drew our very own lions๐ฆ. The children then created their lionโs mane using a range of colourful art and craft materials. We loved seeing their creativity and listening to them practise the โlโ sound as they talked about their drawings.
Today, we had a very hungry lion to feed! ๐ฆ, The children were given different picture cards and had to concentrate, listen carefully and sound out each word to decide whether it started with the โlโ sound. They did such an amazing job!
Bugs Week Muddy Earthworms ๐ชฑ
Our Discoverers kicked off Bugs Week with a delightfully gooey sensory tray filled with earthworms stuck in the mud! ๐ชฑ
โArmed with colourful scoopers, and their hands, our little explorers dove right in to rescue the squishy worms from the slimy mud. There were plenty of squeals, giggles, and shouts of "sticky!", "worm!", and a big chorus of "EWW!" as the muddy squelching began! ๐
โActivities like this are fantastic for fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, and encouraging curiosity about the natural world. The children loved lifting the long, wiggly worms high in the air to show off their muddy catches! ๐ชฑโจ

Our Creators have been busy making their very own magical potions! ๐งโโ๏ธ๐ Mixing, pouring, scooping and adding different ingredients, the tamariki used their imaginations to create some very special potions.
So much fun, messy play, experimenting and imaginative play all in one! ๐๐ซงโจ

Our Pioneers have been enjoying a beautiful nature-inspired sensory set-up, exploring flowers, leaves, coconut bowls and limes. ๐โ๐ฉ๐ธ๐ฟ

๐ธ Frog Slime Fun in Discoverers! ๐
Our Discoverers had lots of fun exploring our frog-themed slime! The tamariki squished, stretched and squished some more while discovering the ooey-gooey texture. ๐ธ๐
A fun sensory experience that encouraged fine-motor skills, curiosity and imaginative play!

๐ Construction Site Sensory Play in Creators! ๐๏ธ
Our Creators had lots of fun exploring our construction-themed sensory play! Using diggers, trucks and scoops, the tamariki enjoyed digging, scooping, transporting and creating their own little construction sites. ๐๐ง

Our Discoverers had lots of fun getting creative with flower playdough! ๐ฟ๐บ Little hands were busy rolling, squishing, pressing and creating beautiful flower-inspired masterpieces. A lovely sensory experience full of imagination, creativity and fine-motor fun! ๐โจ
