Bell Racing

Yum yum… nothing like fresh hay in the morning. 👀🌾. Just a couple of gentlemen enjoying their breakfast.

Meet our sweet War Decree filly 😍

If there’s one thing you need to know about this lovely filly, it’s that she’s pretty sure everyone should be her best friend.

She is always ready to come over and say hello, loves a cuddle and certainly isn’t one to let a familiar face pass by without checking in.

Sweet, friendly and very happy to make herself part of whatever is going on - it’s pretty hard not to fall for this girl.

Everybody loves Twain… and he knows it 😏

This boy has never been one to shy away from a little attention. He loves the spotlight, knows exactly where the camera is and is always ready to flash that smile.

Handsome, loveable and with plenty of charm to go around, JB probably summed him up best: “If he was human, he’s the type you’d want your daughter to date.”

RIP Dolly Parton. You absolute gem. 💖

Say hello to Muscovado

An out-and-out stayer, Muscovado is a horse who generally prefers life in the slow lane. He’s certainly in no great hurry to get anywhere - unless, of course, it matters. 😉

When it’s time to lock in and get down to business, he knows exactly what’s being asked of him and always gives his best.

Very much a “been there, done that” kind of character, there isn’t a lot that phases him. He takes most things in his stride, knows his job and just gets on with it.
Steady, honest and dependable - that’s our Muscovado. ❤️

Congratulations to the connections of Zenith on a gutsy win yesterday in the sponsored Return to Conquer Mile. Top ride by jockey Matt Cartwright. Class. Well done Team! Powered by B-Complete Banana Feeds NZ 👏

Meet Zenith 🐎

A Time Test gelding out of Reine de Lune, Zenith has a rather special family connection here at Bell Racing - he’s Twain’s nephew. So you could say there are some pretty big shoes to fill. 😉

He showed he’s more than ready to start making a name for himself in July, putting together a brilliant performance to win by an impressive seven lengths.

He’s an incredibly honest horse who always tries his best, and seeing that effort translate onto the track was pretty epic.

🏆 The winning streak continues!

After a bumper final week of July, the Bell Racing team has carried that momentum straight into the new season - with AFORE YE GO getting the job done at Te Rapa Racing's Season Opening Raceday on Saturday.

We’re incredibly proud of this boy and it’s always rewarding to see the work at home translate to results on the track. A huge thank you to everyone behind the scenes, and congratulations to his connections.

Well done, Afore Ye Go! 🥇
