🥇 P1 at Rally Hawke’s Bay!

A great day out - the car, team, tyres and everything ran faultlessly, and some valuable seat time before hopping on the plane tomorrow.

A bit of a different look to the team this weekend, led by Josh and Mike, with Keegan, Dan, Piper, Rhys and William all pitching in and helping make it such an enjoyable day. Jared once again did a great job on the notes.

A big thank you to the organisers and all the volunteers for making the rally happen under some very demanding circumstances. Your efforts are hugely appreciated.

Rally Hawkes Bay has always had some of the nicest stages in the country, so Jared and I can not wait to get on them tomorrow. Great seat time and practice ahead of next week.

After the Caltex ride day yesterday, Javiera and I are on the tools for a quick re-prep of the Hyundai NZ Rally2 for this weekends Rally Hawkes Bay - what could go wrong 😂.

A massive thank you and shout out to Jeff who is looking after us in our new temp Bay of Plenty home while we have several events up this end of the country - thanks Jeff!!!

Great afternoon at Tect Park, sharing the rally ride expirience with some key Caltex Havoline and Z Energy customers. The rain and mud only added to the fun. Big thanks to everyone who helped make the day possible, and special shout out to our team tech, Dan Schellingerhout, who has been contracting to us for 10 years and finally got in the passenger seat today!

Rally Paraguay……here we come! 🇵🇾

Beyond excited and incredibly grateful to be heading back to the WRC, this time on gravel, and back to a part of the world that holds so many special memories for us.

We’re under no illusions about the size of the challenge ahead. Jumping back into Rally1 on gravel against the best in the world won’t be easy, but we’ll make the most of this opportunity and give it absolutely everything we’ve got.

A huge thank you to Hyundai Motorsport for believing in us and giving us this chance. I never thought we’d be back on gravel in the main game, so this is one we’ll truly appreciate.

Now……it’s time to get to work!

Feeling incredibly lucky to be surrounded by an awesome team and a pretty special collection of Hyundai machinery from the last 13 years working together,

This photo is missing a few important faces too - Ollie (Technician), Sue (Admin), and our newest recruit, Lucas, who couldn’t make it on the day.

What started as a small team has grown into 12 staff based at our Highlands Motorsport Park workshop, supported by another 10 contractors around New Zealand. Together we’re continuing to grow, take on exciting new projects, and push the boundaries for our customers and our own programs.

A huge thank you to everyone who is part of the journey. Exciting times ahead! 👊
