Over thirty years experience in computational biology, and more than ten years in science communication. Available for work in either, or related ventures. My computational biology work is founded on a background in both biology and computer science. With this I can work from the biological question at hand, and move it forward from there. Computational biology, done well, builds on strong understanding of the concepts driving the biological work at hand. This same process aids clear communication of biological science to non-scientists. I am available for work internationally. Contracts outside New Zealand are welcome, and encouraged (depending on COVID-19 restrictions!)
