Physio Performance is very pleased to welcome Eric de Leeuw to our practice.
Eric is originally from Canada, having studied for a degree in Kinesiology and Biology at the University of Victoria, before moving to New Zealand to study Physiotherapy at the University of Otago, graduating in 2011. Since this time he has worked in multiple different settings, including Private Practice, Aged Care, Hospital setting and with various sports teams.

His clinical passions include:
-Sports Physiotherapy
-Keeping people active
-Rehab post injury
-Exercise based Rehab
-Manual therapy

Physio Performance sent a team of three to compete in this weeks Sport Otago Tri Challenge. Campbell, Patrick and Tim did a great effort, coming in 21st out of 65 teams, with their time in the Male Team Section being the 11th fastest - all with no training! Great effort guys, you did us proud.

Erika Fairweather led the way for our Kiwi trio in the women's 1500m freestyle, claiming her second silver medal of these Games in 15:58.97 🥈

Caitlin Deans (16:08.62) put up a great fight to take three seconds off her personal best time en route to placing fifth, while Eve Thomas (16:29.63) took eighth place.

When the Thunder takes the ice against the Swarm, we'll be wearing special jerseys. After the game, every player jersey will be auctioned, with 100% of the proceeds going to Heart Kids NZ.
