This little boy arrived today. He is Penny and Sammy Whiska's brother and his life has taken a turn for the better, even if he's not convinced of that just yet.

Sammy Whiska's little sister came to us today. She's also very confused about the sudden change of direction her life has recently taken but it's all for the best. No kittens for her while she's still only a kitten herself!

This little guy has had his entire world turned upside down and he is scared and confused at the moment. It's only going to get better for him from now on though.

If you are looking for something to do tomorrow, pop along to 'Something Blue'. An exhibition of hand-painted photographs exploring the many shades and moods of Blue.

You will also find a selection of gorgeous clothing made by Ally and Annie with love and care from high-quality linen and cotton fabrics.

Hooked Crochet and Craft will also be there selling handmade crochet and knitted gifts and toys, 3d printed items and houseplants. They will also be selling our popular catnip kickers, tote and crossbody bags.

Apollo is feeling very poorly ☹ She has a massive infection in one of her back legs, and x-rays today showed a possible problem with the growth plate below her femur. This means that her leg could fail to grow, and if that turns out to be the case, it will need to be amputated.

Her vet bill today was over $500, with more to come as she will potentially need further x-rays. We would be incredibly grateful for any donations towards her care. She is receiving pain relief and antibiotics and is on cage rest in the home of one of our wonderful vet nurses.

(At the time of her sponsorship post we believed she was a boy, hence the name. But going forward we have declared that girls can also be named Apollo!).

Look at Kião living his best life! He's an indoor-only boy who gets to go on adventures with his humans as he's been harness trained. His new mum had this to say about him:

"He's a very happy wee boy. He loves to sit on shoulders (which he climbs up to on his own with his very sharp claws). He has countless toys and his favourite is the curtains and our feet under the blankets. He's a very active kitty but loves a cuddle when he's sleepy. He's definitely very clingy but also very sassy and constantly has his arms crossed. He is the loudest, most vocal cat I have ever seen and will chat at the top of his lungs 24/7. Especially when dinner is three hours away and he thinks he's entitled to having it early! He's very, very loved."

We've received this lovely update from Chip's new family:

"A little update on Chippy boy! He's doing amazing and has brought so much joy into our house. He loves to play with his spring toy, cuddle mummy, daddy and his sisters and take naps in the laundry basket or boxes!"

We love seeing our kittens thriving in their new homes and Chippy has found himself a fantastic new family!

EDIT: Chance is now home. He was found looking very peaceful under some bushes behind his house. Unfortunately not the news his mum was hoping for, but she is grateful that he was found and is home.

One of our volunteers has had her cat go missing from Bernard St, Mornington.

Chance was last seen on Thursday 10 September. He is timid so is unlikely to come to a stranger.
