Forty hours of adversity. Forty hours of showing up. And Hastings Boys’ High absolutely smashed it.

What an honour it was to walk alongside these young men, lift them up along the way, and have plenty of laughs while doing it.

The resilience, encouragement, positivity and sheer determination these boys showed was something special. When things got tough, they came together. When one struggled, the others stepped up. No one was left behind.

Your mana shone through, lads. Be proud of what you achieved—and carry the lessons, strength and brotherhood from these 40 hours into everything that comes next.
