An overview of Feilding Moa Harrier & Athletic Club
"We aim to promote & encourage running & recreational walking for people of all ages." APRIL-JULY: Cross-country events are the feature of the first half of the season. We are fortunate to have the use of a variety of farm courses, some with 60+ years of history behind them. JULY-OCTOBER: Road racing and Relays. Includes several interclub relays such as the Halcombe Relay and Marton-Wanganui Relay. OCTOBER-MARCH: track & field Wednesdays 5:30pm at Timona Park
TRAINING SESSIONS:
Tuesday 5.30pm: Hockey Turf carpark, Manawaroa St, Palmerston North. Wednesday 5:15pm: from our Timona park clubrooms (via Poole St). Thursday 5.30pm: Manawatu Community Athletic Track, Massey University.

Congratulations to long-time Feilding Moa Robert Dabb, who received a long service award at tonight’s Athletics New Zealand Annual General Meeting.
Thank you, Rob, for your tireless work in the athletics scene, and in particular for our own club and members.
We also congratulate Nessa Hodge, who we can also claim as a Moa too - an incredible athlete in her own right as well as an amazing coach and administrator in the athletics scene.
Well done, you two! We are so proud.
Ready to roll for next week’s Road Relays 🙌🏻
Our local organising committee were out on course yesterday marking relay transitions and dropping event notice flyers for the locals.
See you all on Friday for race pack pickup / team manager’s briefing and Saturday for the big day!

Just one week to go until we hit the rolling countryside roads of Halcombe for this year's NZ Road Relays!
Our Feilding Moa teams are named below. We know you'll do us all proud.
Doing us most proud though are all of our amazing volunteers who are helping to stage the event. We couldn't host it without you guys! Thankyou for sharing your time and energy with all of us.
Our local organising committee have been busy lining everything up (Moas in a row?) and all the details are falling into place, ready for runners and walkers from all over the country to descend up on the Manawatū!

I won’t say too much, or I’ll get into trouble 😅, but..
Big ups to Waz, Mark and Rob for their tireless work over the season.
From setting up, packing down, organising, timekeeping and results, solving problems, and likely a few other jobs we don’t even know about, these guys are there long before you arrive and long after you’ve left.
Thanks for a great season, we appreciate you! No rest for the wicked yet though as it’s Road Relays next week and Festival of Running next month.. maybe after that you can put your feet up for a bit.
