What would the perfect plus-size apron look like to you? 👀

You guys told me you couldn’t find a gorgeous plus-size robe, so I designed one. Now you’ve been telling me you’re struggling to find a genuinely good plus-size apron, so I’m going to design the best one I possibly can!

This is our second sample, and I’m trying it on, talking through what’s working and showing you the changes I’m planning next, including bringing the straps in, making it shorter, lengthening the waist ties and adding one big divided front pocket.

But I need your help! Tell me what you love in an apron, what drives you mad and what you can never find in your size.

How long should it be? What do you carry in your pockets? How much coverage do you want? Is there anything else it absolutely needs?

We’re slowly getting Amani, aka Mr Friday Flamingo, used to being back in front of the camera 😂❤️

We’ve got lots of new people here, so we thought we’d reintroduce ourselves. We’re Sera and Amani, the husband-and-wife founders of Friday Flamingo.

We do pretty much everything together. We design, plan, pack orders, create content, answer your messages and do all the behind-the-scenes jobs that keep Friday Flamingo running, all while raising our five kids!

Our dream has always been to create beautiful clothing that helps women feel amazing. Over the past year, Amani has also become much more hands-on with designing our Pasifika range, and he’s currently working on some beautiful new pieces that we can’t wait to show you.

We’ve been absolutely cranking through your orders today, which is why I’ve been a little quiet on here! Most of them are already out the door, but if you were one of our late-night shoppers ordering after 3am or 4am, yours will be packed and sent tomorrow.
