Nothing to do this afternoon. Signature Homes Palmerston North/Manawatu/Horowhenua is having its opening of their new Showhome and she’s a beauty! Have loved working alongside the team to bring this dream to a reality!

Today’s the day!

Today we open our new Show Home at 2 Turoa Street, Feilding - from 12 noon.

This beautiful home is only possible due to the fantastic team we have around us. To all our subbies, suppliers and wider network - THANK YOU! Thank you doesn’t seem enough for the effort and care you have put into this home - so if you are wanting to build (please come to us 😉) or do any renovations, we cannot recommend this team more highly - please contact them!

When it comes to new homes, I find it so important to create a feeling which sparks emotion so potential new owners can see themselves living in the space just as it is.

Last week I ended the week right with a gorgeous couple who are creating a property portfolio that is intentional and that have design elements front of mind.
It’s always a pleasure getting to work alongside them to create homes that have a vibe!
This one has modern industrial feel. I am most excited about seeing this kitchen come together 🙌

Being welcomed back to see a clients finished home is the most rewarding part of the job.
To see a home being lived in that you have helped to create over months and in some cases years is the final piece of the puzzle.
Yesterday I got to pop in for a cuppa, home tour, new born cuddles and a delicious morning tea fresh out of the oven.
Yes my cup with over flowing ☕️
The relationships built with clients over the process of designing their home is special and essential to make sure they get a home that works for them and their family. Making sure a home not only looks good but is functional is so important to me and it means your delve into how they live, what they need and what they would love 🥰
So naturally you get to know them pretty well. This is a part of the job that makes me tick.

P.s The Anzac biscuits were as good as they look!

The use of wallpaper and colour have given the most serine feeling to this space and has become one of the clients favourite spaces of her home.

I love the way wallpaper transforms a space and adds depth and texture.
WC’s are always a fav of mine to cover in wallpaper. Why not make a utility space fun and interesting?!
I mean who wouldn’t want a visitor saying ‘I love your toilet/ powder room’ 🤣😊🥰 I know I love it when thought has been put into this space.

Light and bright? Or Dark and moody?
In these gorgeous homes by I worked alongside Jodi and the intention was to create a different feel in both homes.
Both houses though had a moment of light and bright and a bit darker and moody.
Here’s some photos of the wet area spaces which show just that.

Working alongside on their new Hardie Street homes was a pleasure.
Jodi was keen to get on board with layering these spaces to give them interest which has created an end result that speaks for itself.
