Appreciation Post
Dear Merran Hain,
On behalf of everyone at Gisborne Riding for Disabled, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for generously paying for Harry, Ludo and Gemma to receive their dental treatment.
The health and wellbeing of our RDA horses is incredibly important, as they play such a special role in supporting our riders and making our programmes possible. Your kindness has helped ensure these three valued members of our team remain healthy, comfortable and ready to continue their important work.
We are extremely grateful for your generosity and support of Gisborne RDA. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference to our horses, riders and wider RDA community.
With sincere thanks,
Gisborne RDA

This week one of our young riders felt big and tall walking his hōiho Harry over our bridge 🥰

Over the weekend our amazing committee members made a decision to run a quick fundraiser at a local Equestrian Show the Gisborne Pony Club Winter Series 😊
The weather was on the fence but the turn out was still incredible so why not run a sausage sizzle and bake sale🤔, and so they did the support was amazing and the food was appreciated but for this to even happen we have the generosity of the Gisborne Ulysses Motorcycle Group who donated the sausages, onions and condiments for this successful fundraiser 🥰🙌🏽
Ka Rawe
The kindness from this group now gives us funds for the RDA to continue to help our community grow and achieve in ways that only a hoiho could offer

Ludo is a RDA horse that is being ridden to help him gain life skills and better prepare and shape him for our programme 🥰
Already in classes on a Thursday this helps him keep loving his mahi and making him better suited for more riders as we grow in the programme 👍🏽
Thanks young rider Eva Henry

This Sunday at the Gisborne RDA Indoor Arena the committee will be holding a sausage sizzle fundraiser at the Gisborne Pony Club Winter Series 👌🏽
So come and watch your tamariki, moko or any whanau do the mahi in the ring and have a snack at the same time 😝
Bring some cash, watch some cool hōiho and fill your puku.
I also hear baking will be involved 👀👀
