Applications are open for a scholarship for students planning to study medicine or a science-related field in 2027. Year 13 students, including those who took a gap year and were enrolled at our school in 2025, are welcome to apply.

Year 13s have been mailed the application.

Landscape Labourer – Full-Time Position

Heaps Landscaping are looking for a Landscape labourer to join their small team in Gore.

If you are fit, enjoy a wide variety of work and working outdoors, then we want to hear from you. On job training will be provided, an apprenticeship may be offered to the right applicant.

Year 13 students considering studying at either Otago or Lincoln University next year are encouraged to attend. Liaison officers from both universities will be available to help with course planning, answer questions, and support you with your applications.

A rare opportunity is coming to Southland! As part of a major military exercise involving over 500 New Zealand and Australian Army Reserve personnel, NZDF is hosting a special Open Day event for secondary school students:

Students will have the chance to meet NZDF recruiters, talk with serving soldiers from New Zealand and Australia, and check out military equipment and camp operations.

This opportunity is open to interested Year 11-13 students.
