Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

I had a nice surprise when my son Josh turned up on the streets. My boy who once asked me 'if what I do is called evangelism?' He was in a Christian camp leadership role at the time and went on to say 'it's (evangelism) not his thing'
Of course I was a little conflicted with that (another story)
It was windy and cold and he was in shorts lol but he stayed the entire time.
He may come back or he may not?

Evangelism starts wherever your feet take you, in a group or on your own. Whether you believe the end is near or not, life can be cut short in a moment and in that moment what really matters? Repentance and the receiving of Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour How many of your family and friends don't know Jesus? What holds you back from sharing the gospel to them? Is it fear of rejection? (I can admit to that myself) But STRAIGHT UP maybe we should fear our loved ones going to eternal damnation more!
Harsh words yes but words I feel need told.

Friday 21st August, we are heading back out to the streets of South city Invercargill.
Worship ministry with the team from Elim soup kitchen and some sisters from Gracepoint Church joining us. Str evangelism may not be your cup of tea but I'll be bold enough to guarantee that through trial something within you will move.

Proverbs 27:17

As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another

One particular car full of people drove past multiple times giving us the devil horns, hand sign. We yelled blessings back to them and smiled, invited them to come and tell us about their devil and in turn Id tell them about our Jesus. as they continued to drive past the signs changed one by one from the horns to waves.
Thank you to all who could make it down today, and to those who prayed for us and the town of Gore may the Lord bless you and keep you

The words of Jesus

John 17:20
"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You."

Question: who is Jesus referring to when He says "their message?"
