FTN Motion

A true joy machine!

Did you know you can ride the Streetdog 50 on a car licence in New Zealand and in SA, QLD, WA and NT in Australia? A motorcycle licence is required for the Streetdog XR in New Zealand and Australia.

It’s easy to ride, so if you haven’t already, it’s well worth booking a test ride online at ftnmotion.com and experiencing it for yourself!

Eco-friendly. Cost effective. Way more fun.

Escape the rat race on a Streetdog electric motorcycle.

FTN Motion started in Wellington, and while we're now based in Hamilton, this city will always be the spiritual home of the Streetdog.

Join us for our first annual reunion in Wellington, bringing together the wider FTN Motion family to celebrate how far we've come and look ahead to what's next. We'll share the journey so far, our plans for growth into new markets, and opportunities for you to be part of FTN's next chapter. We've got a couple exciting announcements to make too!

If you're keen to come along, please register your attendance here:

It's a big weekend ahead at FTN, with two expos happening across Auckland and Sydney.

And if you’ve been thinking about getting a Streetdog of your own, now’s a good time to secure one of our remaining production spots for summer delivery.

NZ Tech Expo, Auckland
Friday 18 September

No test rides at this one, but it’s a good chance to meet the makers, get a closer look at the Streetdog, and hear a little more about how we’re rethinking urban mobility.

Everything Electric, Sydney
Friday 18 – Sunday 20 September

Test rides are available all weekend, so if you’re in Sydney, come and take a Streetdog for a spin. You can book your test ride online in advance.

See you there.

Last month the FTN Motion crew joined one of our customers and friends, .developments, for Motors at the Marina in Brisbane.

A gathering of people with an appreciation for classic design, beautiful machines and good company, set against the marina at one of Frank Developments’ upcoming projects.

And, of course, a Streetdog or two came along for the ride ⚡️

Here's a quick throwback to an awesome test ride event at in Brisbane a couple of weekends ago.

If you're in Melbourne or Wellington and have been keen to check out the Streetdog for yourself, we've got two opportunities happening this weekend.
