The screening of Climate Commons is gaining momentum in our communities. Thanks to Mercury Bay Forest & Bird for organising a screening and discussion recently at the Mercury Twin Cinemas. Here's a quick recap of some thoughts/actions inspired by the screening:
π± Biochar: Potential workshops to be organised in the community with the Council's support.
π€ Activating existing community groups and aligning them for common climate goals.
π School Climate Strike: Exciting developments at Mercury Bay Area School with teachers' support.

Thank you, Wellington, for receiving Climate Commons with such warmth and enthusiasm! The screening of the film at the iconic Embassy Theatre marked the launch of the Climate Commons Movement, aimed at fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and inspiring collective action to address the climate crisis.
We are truly honored to have Mayor Tory Whanau grace the Wellington screening of "Climate Commons". Her endorsement of the Climate Commons Movement and her presence alongside fellow community leaders underscored the vital role leaders play in driving collective action and inspiring hope amidst the climate crisis.
