See you tomorrow!

We’re in the running!

Our UV Systems Manager, Shaun van der Westhuizen, and Vertex Engineers General Manager, Greg Fahey, attended the Waikato Chamber of Commerce Business Awards preliminary event last night. And we're thrilled to confirm Vertex Engineers Limited is named as a finalist.

Entering the Innovation award category, we submitted our UVEX design, which utilises UV-C technology to treat plant pathogens. Now sold by horticulture specialists Agri Automation (NZ) Ltd, the UVEX is a fully autonomous system being used by the horticulture industry.

Being named a finalist means we’re in the running to win the Waikato Innovation award and we’ll find out at the Chamber awards night in November if we’ve made the grade. Watch this space!

Clean drinking water and efficient wastewater treatment systems are vitally important for our communities. We’re proud of the part we play in ensuring the long-term sustainability of water and wastewater management in New Zealand.

For our customers in the dairy and food processing industry, it is crucial they meet regulatory wastewater discharge requirements and that’s where our specialist knowledge, and effective treatment technologies are fundamental.

Expanding our product offering for UV-C disinfection has been further enhanced by the recent development of several key international partnerships.

This has enabled our team to extend our range of equipment, which now includes commercial UV-C disinfection treatment products, such as cabinets, boot and pass through units along with knife and equipment disinfection technology.

Together with our partners, we are proud to be contributing to improved hygiene standards for New Zealand’s food and beverage manufacturers.

Ensuring efficiency and safety.

We develop systems where safety is built in during the design phase to reduce risk for operators, without compromising functionality.

Internal design reviews are integral to this process, where the focus is on operations and functionality across a range of applications. This helps our team identify risks early on so we can design and implement manufacturing processes where safety is considered paramount.
