Rototuna Optometrists

We know an eye examination probably isn't at the top of your child's school holiday wish list...

But with a little more breathing room in the schedule, the holidays can be the perfect time to get their vision checked without taking them out of class.

Clear, comfortable vision plays an important role in reading, learning, sport, and everyday confidence. If it's been a while since their last examination, why not tick it off these school holidays?

If spring means sneezing, itchy eyes, and reaching for the tissues, you're definitely not alone.

Seasonal allergies can leave your eyes feeling itchy, watery, red, and irritated. Try to avoid rubbing them, and if your symptoms are persistent or affecting your vision, it's worth getting them checked.

What does your eyewear say about you? 👓✨

Your glasses can be practical, expressive, understated, or a little bit of everything.

At Rototuna Optometrists, we choose our frames based on quality, design, and how they work for the people wearing them. So whether your style is classic, colourful, minimalist, or bold, there's plenty to explore.

An eye examination isn't simply about finding out whether you need glasses 🩺👁️

Your optometrist can assess the health of the structures inside and around your eyes and look for signs of eye disease.

Some conditions can develop quietly, which makes routine examinations an important part of looking after your long-term vision.

THROWBACK TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN…

20 years ago, Rototuna Optometrists opened its doors with a simple goal — to provide exceptional eye care while genuinely getting to know the people in our community.

Rototuna looked very different, a lot has changed over the years…

Technology has evolved.
Frames have changed.
Our practice has grown.
The centre is thriving.

Our commitment to our patients has never changed.

As we celebrate 20 years, we’d love to know…

How long have you been a patient of Rototuna Optometrists?

Were you one of our very first patients? Have you watched your children — or even grandchildren — grow up with us?

Not all blurry vision means the same thing 🔍

Blur at a distance, difficulty reading, distorted vision, or trouble focusing between distances can have very different causes.

That's why simply updating your glasses isn't always the whole answer. A proper assessment helps us understand why you're having trouble seeing and what solution is most appropriate.
