Native Gold on Quartz - unknown locale, likely Australian. Purchased from the late Peter from Tiphin Crystals. The whole piece is approx. only 1.5cm x 1.25cm. One of my collection favourites.

Fun drill core samples from Waihi Martha Underground Mine

1. Inesite, Quartz var. Amethyst, Quartz var. Chalcedony, Silicified Green Clay and minor Sulfide branding - on hematite included Andesite host rock.

2. Quartz var. Amethyst with minor Quartz var. Chalcedony in Andesite

Sphalerite - Tui Mine, Te Aroha, New Zealand

Dimensions Approx 3.5cm x 1.2cm

Small sphalerite crystals almost completely coat the matrix.

Dundasite - Tui Mine, Te Aroha, New Zealand.

Dimensions Approx 0.75cm x 1.4cm

This mineral rounds out my Tui Mine suite! Until I upgrade (or see a specimen I don't already have) my suite from Tui mine can be considered fairly complete. Super stoked.

Stepped fluorite on Quartz - Inner Mongolia

Approx 0.8cm x 1.5cm

Fluorite on Hedenbergite - Unknown Chinese locality. Some damage to main crystal.

Approx 1.5cm x 1.2cm

A selection of Chinese Fluorites - all likely YGX but locality unconfirmed.

Unfortunately damaged but still a decent example.

Two examples of "Grape Agate" - argued to be either acicular amethystine quartz, or botryoidal chalcedony. From Sulawesi Island, Indonesia.

My sole micromount mineral - Clinoptilolite from Whitianga, Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand.

I definitely prefer cabinet sized pieces, but this was too nice to pass up on. Figuring out how best to display it will be tricky.

Dimensions - too hard to measure.
