Lock in the date: launching on 14 September, the newest LEARNZ virtual field trip – Snowline secrets – supported by Earth Sciences New Zealand.

Snowline secrets: What glaciers tell us about our changing climate.

Like all online field trips, Snowline secrets is free to use and aligns with the New Zealand Curriculum. Sign up and we'll email you all of the trip details on launch day, on Monday, 14 September.

The trip will include:

- An Educator guide – guidance that supports teaching and learning to align with curriculum goals
- An immersive Google Earth tour – a virtual tour of the field trip with GIS mapping, 3D locations, 360 panorama images/video
- Discovery pages – background reading, images and diagrams
- Māori keywords, key terms relating to the snowline and climate
