Swedish American Newspapers now brings together more than 1.3 million digitized newspaper pages from 348 publications, covering the years 1851–2007.

The free, searchable collection includes Swedish-language newspapers published across the United States and Canada, offering genealogists, family historians, students, and curious researchers a new way to uncover names, places, events, and community stories.

The expanded collection is available through an updated English and Swedish website hosted by the Minnesota Historical Society.
