🚐 DAY 1 DONE & DUSTED! 🚐

A little bit of rain certainly didn’t stop the fun on Day 1 of the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show!

Despite the wet weather, it was a fantastic first day with plenty of people through the stand, lots of great conversations, and of course, some incredible motorhomes and caravans to explore. 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the rain and stopped by to say hello to the ALM team — it was great to see so many familiar faces and meet plenty of new ones too!

Fingers crossed for a little less rain tomorrow… but either way, we’ll be back and ready for Day 2!

Come and see the team, have a chat and take a look through the range. 🚐✨

✨ Meet Andrew & Fleur – The Owners of ALM Group! ✨

Next up in our introductions for the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show this weekend are two very familiar faces — Andrew & Fleur, the owners of ALM Group! 👋

Andrew & Fleur started the business over 30 years ago, and what began all those years back has grown into the ALM Group you know today. With decades of experience behind them, they’ve seen plenty of changes along the way, but their passion for the business, the industry and the people they meet remains at the heart of ALM.

You’ll find them both at the show this weekend, so make sure you stop by the ALM stand and say hello!

💬 Get to Know Andrew & Fleur!

We thought we’d put the pair in the hot seat with a few questions…

⭐ What’s been the most rewarding part of running ALM for over 30 years?
- Creating memories for customers and watching the enjoyment they and their families have gained from our products and services over many years. Establishing a wonderful team that feels more like family than staff

🚐 What’s changed the most in the motorhome & caravan industry since you started?
- The development of the RV industry has radically changed from the alternative lifestyle perception to a very trendy and modern product

😂 Who is really the boss at ALM?
- In reality we all work for someone, ultimately someone needs to be responsible for making the decisions that drive the business forward. There is no 'I' in TEAM and we are united

🗺️ If you could jump in a motorhome tomorrow and head anywhere in NZ, where would you go?
- A road trip of both the South and South Island including Waiheke and Great Barrier

📸 What’s your favourite memories from the early days of ALM?
- Building a united team, Manufacturing one of the largest Launches to be built in the Waikato and establishing our own premises

Come and meet Andrew, Fleur and the rest of the team at the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show this weekend. After more than 30 years in the business, there are plenty of stories to share — and they’re always up for a good chat!

✨ Meet Jayla – Our Customer Service Superstar! ✨

If you’re heading along to the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show this September, keep an eye out for Jayla on the ALM stand! 👋
Jayla is part of our Customer Service team and is one of the friendly faces who looks after you once you have your van. From taking service bookings and helping with spare parts, through to warranty and insurance, Jayla is there to help keep things running smoothly after you hit the road.
Friendly, helpful and just a little bit cheeky, Jayla brings plenty of personality to the team — so there’s never a dull moment when she’s around! 😄

💬 Get to Know Jayla!

We asked Jayla a few quick questions before the show…

🧳 What’s one thing you would never travel without?
- Good snacks or my drink bottle

😄 Who in the ALM team are you most likely to play a prank on?
- It would definitely have to be Sam

🚐 If you could take a motorhome anywhere in NZ for a weekend, where would you go?
- It would have to be either the Abel Tasman down the South Island or Hahei in the Coromandel

🍫 What’s your must-have road trip snack?
- Either Pringles or fresh berries in the summer time!

🎵 What song is guaranteed to get you singing along?
- Wagon Wheel for sure!

If you already own an ALM van, there’s a good chance you’ll know Jayla! Come and put a face to the name at the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show this September — and be prepared for a bit of banter while you’re there! 😉

✨ Meet Sam – Our Sales Manager! ✨

Heading to the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show next week? Make sure you come and say hello to Sam, one of the friendly faces you’ll find on the ALM stand! 👋

Sam is our Sales Manager and has been a valued part of the ALM team for 7 years. With her bubbly personality and keen eye for detail, Sam brings great energy to the team and takes pride in making sure every detail is taken care of.

From start to finish, Sam is there to guide you through the whole journey – from the initial sale, to helping you select your colours and options, right through to arranging the handover of your new motorhome or caravan. She makes sure everything comes together smoothly, so you can focus on the exciting part – getting ready for your next adventure!

💬 Get to Know Sam!

We asked Sam a few quick questions before the show…

⭐ What’s your favourite part of your job?
- Being with customers when they see their new van for the first time. When it's something they've been dreaming about for so long then for it to finally be here in the flesh is pretty special! I also love picking colours for new vans 🤭

🚐 What’s your favourite thing about working in the motorhome & caravan industry?
- The industry is constantly evolving, there's always new ideas and new features coming out. You also get to meet a lot of different people which is fun!

☕ What’s your go-to coffee order?
- A long black or iced latte w/ almond milk

🏕️ If you could take a caravan anywhere in NZ for the weekend, where would you go?
- Spirits Bay in the far North! Being a Northland girl originally, we spent every Easter there as kids!

💭 What’s something people might not know about you?
- I've been a competitive Rock 'n' Roll dancer for the past 20-years, competing all over New Zealand! 💃

If you spot Sam at the Show, be sure to come over and say hello! She’ll be ready for a chat, to answer your questions and help you find exactly what you need.

💚 Seeing green at ALM Group! 💚

There’s no missing these Crusader Caravans with their bold green decals! From the Lifechanger Bunkie to the Musketeer Treville, that signature splash of green certainly stands out in the yard. 👀🚐

Different layouts, different features, but both ready for plenty of adventures around New Zealand. 🇳🇿

Which one would you choose? 💚
