Normans

A lot has changed since Charlie and Marie Norman first started out in livestock transport back in 1970 — but the way we do business hasn’t.

More than 50 years later, Normans has grown into transport, warehousing and distribution, with food-grade storage across Morrinsville and Hamilton supporting local and international markets.

Through all that growth, we’ve remained family owned and operated, with the next generation now leading the business alongside a talented local team — many of whom have been part of Normans for years.

Different trucks, bigger sheds and a few more years under our belt — but still the same practical, personal approach to getting the job done right!

“Arrived exactly on time to when they said they would. The driver was excellent & went out of his way to ensure our very heavy parcel was delivered safely with the hi-ab despite our challenging driveway. Very impressed, thank you!” Louise, Google Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great delivery isn’t just about getting from A to B. It’s about turning up when we say we will, taking care with every load, and finding a way to get the job done safely — even when the driveway makes things interesting!

Great work by our team, and thanks Louise for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback.

They say you never know what you're going to get... and shipping containers are a bit like that. 😄

Every container that comes through our warehouse is different. One day it's food products and the next it's retail stock.

Once the doors open, it's all hands on deck to unload, sort everything out and get it on our shelves or for the next leg of its journey.

It's all part of the job, but we'll admit... we still enjoy seeing what's inside each one!

The people who keep things moving. 🚛

Behind every delivery is someone getting up early, hitting the road and making sure freight gets where it needs to go.

Our drivers are a huge part of what we do at Normans, and we’re pretty lucky to have a great bunch behind the wheel. Thanks team!
