Go Bananas Childcare Te Rapa

who make our tamariki feel loved, supported and special.
A beautiful day full of aroha, smiles and whānau time!

Hari Rā Pāpā!

It was all about kindness, compassion and community as we celebrated Daffodil Day.
Our tamariki enjoyed sharing ideas, creating beautiful artwork and learning that we can all play a part in showing care and support for others.
He aroha, he manaakitanga – kindness and caring for all.

12 years of aroha, laughter, learning, connection and belonging❤️

Once upon a time… Our tamariki explored magical worlds, discovered new ideas and let their imaginations take flight through the joy of books. What a wonderful NZ Book Week!

Tamariki learn more from what they see.
When we show kindness, they learn kindness.
When we show respect, they learn respect.
When we work together, they learn the power of collaboration.
It starts with us. It grows through them. 💛

This week has been all about culture, connection and celebrating language!
Our tamariki have been exploring Cook Islands language and culture through meaningful, hands-on experiences. It has been lovely to see kaiako creating opportunities for tamariki to listen, participate, have a go and celebrate together.

Respect begins with listening, caring, and valuing one another.
Our tamariki enjoyed exploring together while respecting each other's ideas, celebrating diversity, and caring for their environment. These experiences nurture confident learners who appreciate the people and world around them.

Learning happens everywhere—through play, conversations, creativity, and connection. 🌿
We love seeing our tamariki explore, discover, and celebrate each new achievement together.

Our hearts were full as our tamariki proudly shared songs, waiata, and performances during our Matariki celebration. Their confidence, joy, and enthusiasm lit up the room and made us incredibly proud.
Thank you to our whānau for encouraging and celebrating every moment alongside us. Together, we continue to nurture confident, capable learners who shine brightly.

Our ready for school programme promotes language, communication, and early literacy through responsive interactions and meaningful learning experiences that support each child's development.
