The ReMakery Building Update - We are on the move! 🏠➡🏠

The ReMakery site at 310 Waiwhetū Road has now been sold. This means that Common Unity will be shifting down the road to the former Dive Shop at 227 Waiwhetū Road. We will remain at the current site until Christmas, relocate over the second half of January, and reopen at the new location in February 2027 🌞

Although our building will change, we know that the magic of connection and community will travel with us down the road - our home is wherever we are all gathered together 💚

In the lead-up to the move, we will be holding a Spring Market Day / Garage Sale on Saturday 17 October - come grab yourself a bargain 😁 We will of course also have a big whare-warming party at the new site in February - watch this space 👀

We will be organising working bees ahead of the shift, and at the moment are particularly seeking people with carpentry skills to construct shelving at the new site. If you are able to assist with either the market day or the shelving, please get in touch! 🔨

In the meantime, we’re open as usual Tuesday - Friday, 9am - 2pm - come on down, we’d love to see you 🥰

The ReMakery Koha Kitchen is warming up for Kai this week - here’s the menu for the week!

Every week we’re serving yummy, seasonal lunches for anyone who’s needing a meal - pay by Koha and spend some time with us, we can’t wait to see you!

I’m not sure if this is news to anyone but we now have an online shop, and all of our profits go directly back into the community - how’s that for shopping with purpose!

It’s that time of the week again - here’s the menu for this week’s Koha Cafe. We are so grateful to Kaibosh Food Rescue for the mushrooms this week so of course we’ve got a creamy mushroom soup on the menu!

All meals and cafe goods by Koha with all our profits going directly back into the community. Come and enjoy from affordable and yummy Kai!
