Judge a café by its menu design before I’ve even ordered
Walk on past shops because of their signage, and then get surprised by how cool they are inside 😅😆
I can’t help it!
But here’s the thing: it’s not just designers. Everyone makes snap judgements based on what they see. Your logo, signage, packaging and website are often the very first impression people get of your business, long before they try your product or walk through your door.

The first product label I designed for 3Bee Mānuka Honey & Natural Skincare a while back in…2004?!
I’ve since been able to design lots of other packaging for a variety of products going to a range of countries.
I have to say - that since I have been working for myself I’ve learnt the most I ever have in my career, in both design and business.
Also took these product shots. And loaded up to website. ✨😆 💅🏽
I recently had the privilege of helping bring this whanau artwork to life and onto tees with Design by George :)
The artwork was created by our customers grandson, and she’d carefully stored it for years.
I helped by recreating it as a vector graphic ready for print and in the colours she was after, and Design by George brought it to life onto a range of Tees!
Happy with how they’ve turned out!

A quick share of some things I’ve been doodling and drawing lately which I then have used in wedding signage, tshirt graphics, branding etc.
’m a graphic designer - not an artist, but designing came from a love of art & throwback to before Otago Uni (where I did Design & Marketing), there was a time I was a 19 year old doing a 1 year visual arts course in nelson at NMIT.
What a time of Sculpture, jewellery making, Fashion, Life drawings, painting and generally being a hippie.
As you can see it’s finally paying off😂 🎉

Branding throwback ✨
I spotted these guys out and about over the weekend and couldn’t help but notice the vehicle graphics I designed for them back in 2023 — still looking so good!
This project included their logo, business cards and vehicle graphics, and it’s always pretty cool seeing work Icreated years ago still out there doing its thing in the real world.
