I was going to post to promote my upcoming Montana show but it sold out so instead I will promote kites. Have you flown a kite lately? It’s ecstatic.

I loved these little shows! Thank you for gathering and creating a caring space for these fledgling songs. I had so many meaningful conversations. Montana buddies, see you in September. 🧡

This dirtbag is heading out tomorrow to play new songs in the living rooms of Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Montana. Please recommend adventures and introduce me to your friends with horses.
May 12 - Moscow, ID
May 13 - Spokane, WA
May 15 - Butte, MT
May 16 - Helena, MT
May 17 - Missoula, MT

New York, too brief: a park selfie alerts me of the need to cut my bangs, hunting for the huntress (Diana, always), quite moved by Clarence White’s “The Cave”, Raphael nails the female anatomy, Solvej B***e explodes my understanding of time, brilliant friends’ birthdays, Union Square Burlington Coat Factory where the top floor still has cheap sheets and one of the best views in Manhattan.

Next month I’m doing a run of living room shows in one of my favorite corners of the world. These are tiny and word-of-mouth dependent so please tell your pals in these towns! Tickets in my bio or at Undertow.com

Next week I’m heading to Eastern Oregon to do one of my very favorite things which is visit a school and talk to kids about writing songs. While I’m out there, I’m gonna play a show at HQ in my beloved third record namesake, La Grande! Hope to see some pals!

There are a few tickets left for Anacortes this evening, a town that looms large in my musical imagination. I had the notion to climb Mt Erie beforehand but there is a high wind warning.

Thanks to everyone for coming to these shows and cheering on my wobbly new songs! 💚

Gonna be playing a lot of piano soon, still in the style of someone who never took lessons but spent many hours trying to replicate the demo of “Together Forever” on the Casio CA-100

Note: We are postponing Spokane to May so I can add some Idaho and Montana shows. More on that soon!

I am excited to announce this run of teeny tiny shows at the end of this month! I’ll be playing some new songs and telling stories of recent adventures. Link to all tickets in my bio. Send your pals out! x
