Our artists enjoy incorporating natural materials, much of it is locally sorced, such as wool, wood, clay, gems, shells, stones, botanicals and leather.
Because our artists are local, resorceful and creative people. They create one of a kind peices that reflect our region. They make our gallery a real reflection of the Waitaki, because we live in a really beautiful place!

Our flowers last a long time! If you buy a dried bunch, a painting, ceramic peice or quilt, the thought doesn't fade.

We are so very lucky to have Kakanui photographer Derek Smith bringing some limited edition signed copies of his book Roadscapes, a photographic journey across NZ small towns and vintage cars.
The book has been a hit natiowide, and a must have Kiwi memorabilia.

Curiosities that caught my eye in the gallery lately...

The Noth Otago Patcher and Quilters group are in the guest artist spot brightening up our entryway. Come and see their wonderfully skilled creations.

Come and see some beautifully made functional ceramic pieces by David Atkinson. We have a lovely selection of green glazed cups and mugs, some striking jugs and teapots.

Last night was a busy evening celebrating the opening of Marnie Campbell's new art works. Her exhibition 'the colour turquoise' will be running for the next 6 weeks, so come in and have a look.
