This week has been about people.

I’ve been meeting new people, having conversations and helping more people understand how the insurance industry works and what options are actually available to them.

But this week also reminded me why the work matters.

I had the privilege of spending some precious time with my dad while he was here from South Africa. He flew home on Monday, and it made me realise again that we never know when we’ll see the people we love next.

Life gets busy. Work gets busy. But the people around us are what really matter.

So this weekend, I’m reminding myself to slow down, appreciate the people I have, and never take time together for granted.

September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month, a timely reminder to listen to your body, keep up with recommended checks and not put those appointments off.

Dad has life insurance, so the family is covered.

This week has felt a little extra special for me.

My own dad has flown all the way from South Africa to spend some time with us and it’s been a beautiful reminder of just how precious time with the people we love really is.

We get so caught up in the everyday busyness that sometimes we forget… the people we love are what matter most.

So this weekend, as we celebrate the dads, grandads and father figures in our lives, take a moment to appreciate them, make the memories, have the conversations and enjoy the time together.

Because at the end of the day, it’s the people behind our policies, our homes and our lives that matter most. ❤️
