My herd of emotional support dragons is growing😊

A slightly larger resting dragon than the little pocket sized ones I have been making do to the thickness of the yarn I found. This will be a collection of, mostly pocket sized, resting dragons to remind those of us with chronic conditions,and even those without, that rest is a thing that is highly undervalued in our society. Cultivate slowing down instead of always pushing to the next thing.

Beautiful weaving exhibition at thistle hall on until end of next week. With workshops on the weekend. Such gorgeous textures, colours, designs and stories. Go have a look.

What an amazing week this has been with an almost sold out exhibition. Such wonderful conversations and interactions with people and art. Huge gratitude to the wonderful Fiona for sitting in the gallery with me, representing and offering her wisdom for people with questions I could not answer. Really hoping we might be able to find a few people for a group exhibition next year. If you live with chronic pain and use creativity to help you through, get in touch. The video is Fiona crushing one of the large pills from the installation of medicines I have tried and still use. These will get another life as grog for clay in future creations. At least they will be good for something.

Beautiful opening last night at Thistle Hall Gallery. I will be at the gallery 12-6 today, Thursday and Friday. Saturday we are open 11-5 and Sunday from 11-3 where people will be picking up their purchases as well. Come and see me😊 Make a chalk running and add a few feathers to the Phoenix.
