Another busy week behind us, with plenty of wins, a little wildlife, some well-earned treats and lots happening behind the scenes! 🏡

It’s been a fantastic week for getting properties tenanted, including one that was snapped up in just 6 days! A brilliant result — great work, Georgina! 👏

🎁 A lucky winner!
We loved seeing the lucky recipient of the goodie box we sponsored for the Saint Peter Chanel School Fair. Supporting our local schools and community is always something we’re proud to be part of.

🐦 A little visitor...
Our Trust Account Manager, Di, spotted a magpie checking out the neighbourhood — quite possibly on the hunt for the perfect nesting spot!

🚗 Property Management errands are better with a co-pilot!
Georgina was out and about getting things done this week, accompanied by her trusty sidekick, Milo. We think every Property Manager deserves a co-pilot like this! 🐾

🪑 A little office refresh!
Our team came in to refreshed desks and some comfy new chairs this week. When your team works as hard as ours does, they deserve a workspace that looks after them too!

💆‍♀️ And a reminder to make time for yourself...
Hard work deserves to be recognised. Georgina has received some fantastic Google reviews from her wonderful owners, so some well-earned time out for a massage and refreshing lemongrass tea was definitely deserved. Keep up the amazing work, Georgina! 🌿☕

With 20+ years as an architect and experience in real estate and property management, Julie brings a unique perspective to The Rent Shop.

In two and a half years, she’s progressed from relief property manager to managing her own portfolio - and we’ve loved having her as part of the TRS team!

When she’s not looking after properties, you’ll find Julie gardening, enjoying time with family, exploring psychology or making the most of Nelson’s beautiful beaches. ☀️🌊

The Week That Was - Spring Has Sprung!

There was definitely something in the air this past week… and we think it might be Spring! 🌱 Our camera rolls have been full of adorable animals, beautiful views and a little community spirit thrown in for good measure.

🐑 Spring lambs have arrived! Nothing says spring quite like seeing these little cuties bouncing around the paddocks.

🐮 McKenzie’s son Fletcher has been making some new four-legged friends and enjoying time with the gorgeous new calves🥰

🐱 And not wanting to miss out on all the spring animal action, Cheryl’s cat Spooky decided it was time to join the flock… dressed as a lamb! 😂🐑 We’re not entirely convinced Spooky was as enthusiastic about the idea as Cheryl was!

🌅 Georgina captured this absolutely stunning sunset over Nelson. We really are lucky to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country. ❤️

🎁 And finally, another little bit of local love! Our Motueka team, Jo & Karen (with some very important assistance from Freya!), put together these awesome goodie bags as prizes for the St Peter Chanel School Fair. We love being able to support our local schools and communities – especially when it involves this many treats! 🍭🍫

A week full of spring babies, beautiful scenery, community spirit and one slightly unimpressed cat. 😂
