Inflatable Repairs

I've never fixed one of these before. It's an inflatable seat used by midwives to assist mothers in the birthing process. Not my usual field of expertise ! Anyway, it's fixed, holding good air pressure, ready for the next mum and baby.

Because we repair inflatable ski biscuits, I often get asked if we have any good used ones for sale. Well we do !! I've got half a dozen or so singles and doubles and this awesome 3 person ski biscuit for sale.

This one is 100% airtight and the inner is in as new condition. Unfortunately it has been dragged across something, ripping a few holes in the outer base. They have been successfully patched ( see photos ) and apart from the appearance the unit is good to go. It's priced accordingly at $180. Ideal for some high speed fun with a group of mates.

This lovely, near new, 2 person kayak had been attacked by rats while it was in barn storage ! Hundreds of dollars worth of equipment could no longer be used. I reinforced the holes with patches from the inside then covered the repair with one large patch on top. No leaks, ready for the water, back in business.

I'm often amazed at how adaptable the glue and the process I use is. It's been well proven on pvc ski biscuits, air tracks, air beds, tents etc but when my gumboot split it worked perfectly on that too. Let me know what you need repaired and I'll give it a go.

This Air Track had a big hole in the base and a few on one side. It was completely useless but with some strong patches and a good clean up, its ready for everything the kids can do to it over summer.

This Fat Sack came in for repairs to two ports. The strongest way was to work from the inside and the end result is tidy collars inside and out which won't leak under the pressure of the water.

We had a beautiful, clear winters day today and a young family with a new jet ski purchased one of the good quality used ski biscuits I've got ready for summer. The water must have been a bit cold on Lake Tarawera but everything went well and they had a blast.

It was great helping them get set up with a biscuit, foot pump and rope for $130.

I still have single, double and 3 person biscuits ready to buy.

I've had a few repairs recently but I've also been buying up good used biscuits ready for the summer rush. All have been cleaned and thoroughly tested. They are different sizes and shapes, from singles to 3 person biscuits.

To keep busy I've also been making these Gaga Ball Pits for local schools. Children play a form of handball inside the octagon. It's such a popular playground activity that I've made pits for 5 schools so far and 2 more will be completed next week.

This airbed had a split on the seam about 10cm long. It's now fixed, holding air and ready for summer camping.

Another SUP board and a cute little tender in for repair today. A lot of time spent removing old patches and layers of glue before I could get to the actual puncture.
