Keeping it in the family!

Nathan’s sister Madi made her debut behind the scenes with The Motorsport Club on Saturday, getting a completely different view of race day.

We spend a lot of time on the competitor side of the fence, so it was pretty cool to see Madi experience what goes on behind the scenes and be part of the team that helps make a race day happen.

A different kind of motorsport debut, but a pretty special one! 🏁

Awesome day yesterday with the Mackenzie Motorsport team!

Stayed in Cam’s mirrors for the full one hour. The team nailed the pit stop and got us back out in the same position we came in, setting us up to bring it home P2 overall. P1 went to Cam, who drove a great race and deserved the win.

We also wrapped up our own Mackenzie Motorsport 2 Round Endurance Championship, with Round 1 at Mega Motorsport and Round 2 at NZIGP, coming away with P2 in the championship.

Cool to be back on track with our teammates and another solid result for the whole crew.

What else do ya do while waiting for the car to cool down so you can get a green run in? 😂

Five rounds are locked in, with one more May date still to be confirmed.

The Bridgestone GR86 Championship is set for another season of close racing, big battles and GR86 action.

GAZOO Racing New Zealand has revealed details of its 2026-2027 Bridgestone GR86 Championship, and the five round season looks set to be another highly competitive one bristling with the sport’s top young NZ talent.

Five championship weekends will be bookmarked with a sixth non-championship round supporting Supercars.

That date and venue is still to be confirmed but before that, the best young drivers in New Zealand can look forward to a high-profile summer.
