An additional toilet is also available and the launch is fully ducted with diesel heating for your comfort. Sovereign is fully licensed to serve alcohol which makes it the perfect choice for corporate events or any special functions. The galley facilities include a microwave , gas oven and hob , a freezer and two fridges ( one in the bar) with catering available on request. There is a sky satellite television , 10,000+ songs programmed into the stereo system and a DVD player. A little bit of information about our skipper:
Russel Gammans :
Russel is a keen fisherman, with over 30 years charter boat experience in the waters of the Bay of Plenty and beyond. There has been many Marlin, Tuna , and many other game fish boated over his career. Due to an extensive knowledge of the local reefs , knolls and rocks he knows how to get the best out of kingfish,snapper and hapuka fishing grounds of the Bay. Russel and his wife Jackie have owned Sovereign for over seven years and live in Plummers Point ,Tauranga. Russel's favourite waters surround the Mercury's, Aldermen's and Mayor, Great Barrier and Motiti Islands but his is more than happy to go beyond by request.
