⚠️ Cyclone Vaianu – Venue Closures Update ⚠️

Due to the expected impacts of Cyclone Vaianu, all Bay Venues facilities will be closed on Sunday.

This decision aligns with Tauranga City Council’s decision to close all council facilities and follows advice from MetService and Civil Defence. It reflects a shared, safety-first approach across the city.

Venues will reopen from 8:00am on Monday, allowing our teams to carry out safety checks and address any cyclone related impacts in daylight hours. Customers with affected bookings, programmes or events will be contacted directly to arrange refunds or postponement options where relevant.

You will not be able to enter Truman Lane from the SH29A roundabout but can still get here via the SH2 Sandhurst/Mangatawa interchange.

A temporary eastbound lane closure on a section of Truman Lane will be in place over summer as part of Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency’s Bay Link project.
