Join us and our Under 21's on September 27th, open to all players new and returning to introduce our 2027 strategies and new coaching group, Carl Sheridan, Chris Johnson, Luke Parsons and Willem Poolman.

Great to see some of our Colts players, Ryan Baillie, Joel Connolly, Marcus Tutty and Kiarn Collett-Quinn out representing the Waikato Under 21 Babarians side, picking up a win over the Waikato Divisional Under 21 side in Ohaupo.

Congratulations to Joe Walsh, who made his King Country debut today against South Canterbury in Te Kuiti today, alongside fellow Lion Tairoa Crean.

The annual Te Awamutu Community Gala is back, and this year it's raising money for the Te Awamutu Volunteer Fire Brigade!! There'll be food trucks, live music, stalls, rock climbing and more, so come on down for a fun afternoon, and help our amazing fire fighters 😍

Two more young men to celebrate, with halfback Zealin Prime being selected for the New Zealand Harlequins Senior Men side, and outside back Jonan Heke-Heays being named in the New Zealand Maori Under 20 Tama Toa Sevens side to tour India.

Massive Jake, congratulations!

A massive congratulations to Jake Russ from Te Awamutu Sports Senior Rugby for taking out the Waikato Draught Men's Club Player of the Year! 🏆👏

A dedicated captain, club champion and all-round great person, Jake has been recognised for his consistency on the field, his leadership, and the way he represents his club both on and off it.

A true role model who leads by example and gives his all every time he pulls on the jersey. A very well-deserved recognition, congratulations, Jake! ❤️💛🖤

Congratulations to front rower/loose forward Bronson Van der Heyden, who was selected for the the Waikato Under 20's side, along with Takerei Bidois, who was unavailable due to injury.

Congratulations to two more of our Premier side, Tairoa Crean and Hemi Gardiner who earnt their first caps for King Country this afternoon against the New Zealand Babarians.
