This post comes to you from deep within my brain. Often as I sit and pin or cut i start to think.... scarey huh!

Anywhoo in a world of social media and the ability to hide behind nicknames and anonymity we need to remember to be knd and think before we speak.
Quite a few years ago I was told my sewing,/quilting was too rip sh$% and bust to ever be displayed. That comment hit me in my core. Sewing has saved me literally, more than once. I then felt I had to hide my work and never display it. When we bought the shop it took all of me to display my quilts. But people liked them, they liked that they weren't perfect. Like me , my work is not perfect and never will be. However I'm proud of what I'm producing. My advice, just be you and do what you love. This bubble was bought to you by my brain while I sit and pin my quilt for the show. Can we take a moment though for my seams and ponts please. Oh and on a side note does anyone else have an unhelpful helper 😜

Eeepp. The quilt show is creeping up fast. My quilt for it now just needs quilting and binding. Nothing like a rapidly approaching deadline to make you question a lot of life choices.
I will post the whole quilt after the show.

Sorry folks. I've been awful at posting but list track of time while moving house etc. I do have some exciting news coming soon. I will post about that once we have solidified the plans.

Now, what are you working on? I'm finishing UFOs and getting ready for the Patchwork Unlimited- Turua quilt show, which is rapidly approaching.
