New Month, New Leaderboards!

We've finished up with the V8 Supercars leaderboards for the year, but there's still plenty of fun to be had!

The HQ:
3 Speed Manual, 1365 KG, 180 BHP: this thing is all about conserving momentum. Don't brake too hard, don't scrub too much speed, cause once you slow down it'll take an age to get back up to speed! Barbagallo is a short but technical track that rewards patience and precision.

Honda NSX GT3:
These cars are popular for a reason: they sound great, go like a cut cat and the racing is excellent! There's no better circuit to pair with the pride of Japanese Racing than the legendary Suzuka! This circuit will test all of your skills, and it never lets up. This one is an all timer.

It's going to be an excellent month, so come on in and get your laps up!

HOSS WINTER LEAGUE - ROUND 8 COMPLETE

The 7 Million Metre Shinnecock Hills is now behind us, which I'm sure most of you are thrilled about! (direct all course related complaints to Mr Brader). The competition is only getting more and more competitive, especially when we account for the drop rounds!

Shaun Rooney still leads no matter what, but it was his 2nd worst round so far. He's still managed to outscore both Darren and Regan to pull that gap up to 14 Points. However, a new title hopeful has entered the conversation 👀

Sam Mclauchlan has come out of seemingly nowhere and is only 12 Points off of the lead! Sam missed a round back at To***co Road so it looked like he was out of the running. However, he's the #1 scorer over the last 3 Rounds, and by a decent margin too! This championship is far from over!

Darren Sullivan is only 2 Points further back from Sam, and only 14 Points off of the lead. The 3 Peat is still within reach for our 2-Time champ, but he'll need an excellent run of form to catch up!

Cam Gibb took the Round Win at Shinnecock with an excellent net score of 74.4. Regan Powell had the best acutal score with 78 Strokes, and he also took out the Closest-to-the-Pin with an 8.6 M shot!

With the horrors of Round 8 behind us, we can look forward to Round 9 at The Rennaissance Club! Back to White Tees and regular Greens, this course still requires a precise touch, but at least we shouldn't have to drive the ball 300 Metres just to make the fairway 😅

Round 9 is available through until the 5th of October.

BACK 2 BACK FOR BLAIR

We've capped off another chapter in this years Leaderboard Championship, and Blair Gabites has taken top honours for the 3rd time this year, and 2nd month on the bounce! It was far from easy though, with 4 different Winners from 4 Races, it was some of the closest racing we've had!

Korban Winter comes home in 2nd for the 2nd month in a row. Korban is only just getting started, it won't be long until he's the favourite at every round.

Morgan Dore steadies his championship charge with a solid and consistent 3rd Place. He was the only driver in the top 5 that didn't manage a race win, but he understood that finishing the races is by far the most important part. He sits just 6 Points ahead of Blair in the overall standings, 3 Rounds left to go, can he hold on?

Blair Gabites and Dallas Redhead once again feature in the monthly awards, winning the Clean Air and Hard Charger awards respectively.

With August in the rear view, we've come upon the big one: Bathurst! One of our favourite events to put on, the HOSS Bathurst 500. 81 Laps around the mountain, Teams Enduro, Top 8 Shootout to set the grid: it's going to be heaps of fun!

October 10th at 5:30PM we get things kicked off!
