Summer, we're ready for you!
With the warmer months on their way, helping clients create outdoor spaces that feel just as considered and inviting as their interior is something I really enjoy.
From choosing the right fabrics and colours to custom outdoor cushions and furniture that add colour, life and comfort. It's all about creating an outdoor space you'll genuinely want to use and enjoy over summer.
I'm smitten about this fabric combination for an up coming project and I can't wait to show you the end result.

At Petronella's Interior Design, we take the time to personally select furniture and pieces we believe will work beautifully for your home, your style and most importantly, the way you live.
We don't generically purchase items, every project is personal, with each piece carefully considered for how it will work within the overall scheme.
It's about creating spaces and homes that feel considered, individual and uniquely yours - not something that could belong to anyone.

The best way to sign off the end of the week?
An email like this coming through late on a Friday afternoon 🥰
Job done. Week complete. And that lovely feeling of knowing someone has appreciated all the leg work, decisions, mulling and little details that go into helping make their new house feel like a home.
It's the messages like these that make all the behind the scenes work worthwhile.
A pretty great way to finish last week - thank you!

Snippets of a recent Home Staging.
There's always a lot of heavy lifting, in this case, stairs! moving, tweaking and just playing around with different combos until you find the look that feels right for the home.

Wonderful new fabric release 🛋🐑
Suitable for upholstery and drapery.
Timeless beauty.
A little peek at some of the wallpaper selections making their way into upcoming projects.
Thoughtfully chosen for each project - wallpaper is a really effective way to add extra colour, pattern and layers to a space.
One of those projects that will always hold a special place in my heart forever!!!
Working with clients on the other side of the world meant plenty of late-night video calls, bringing their vision for a traditional villa-style home to life.
From the panelling and wallpapers to the tiling, flooring, joinery and window treatments, every detail was carefully considered.
I feel incredibly honoured to have been part of their journey as they relocated to New Zealand.

Rolling out this beauty!
A simple, modern contemporary round rug for one of my current projects.
I love how the right rug can completely change the feel of room with hard flooring and I think this is going to be perfect in its new home.

I have loved being involved in this bougie project!
Nothing beats the excitement you get when a project starts reaching those final stages and the finishing touches begin to bring everything together. These custom cushions are now in place adding just the right mix of texture, pattern and personality.
And there are some delicious curtains still to be showcased! Stay tuned.
Another project slowly coming to life one detail at a time ❤
