Level Up Equestrian

Time flies when you’re having fun they say.

A very busy calf rearing season but I have managed to quietly start taking on show prep work.
Show clips pictured below, a young 2yr old of mine prepped for her first show the other weekend, a clients horse who I prepped and led and a lovely client turned friend that had a very successful outing at their first show of the season today.

I will be out and about with my own team of youngstock and ridden horses, filling in gaps helping friends and clients and always happy to help with catch rides or leading. Spaces are limited and I try my best to fit everyone in but there is only so much time in the day.

Bookings are available for the following A&Ps

✨Ellesmere A&P (Saturday morning only)
✨Rangiora A&P
✨Ashburton A&P
✨Amberley A&P
✨Christchurch A&P

Any others please do touch base. I am still available for tidy up clip jobs/show clips, Mane and tail dyes and everything in between.

It’s that time of year. I had the pleasure of plaiting this wee cutie today for Amberley Cup Dressage tomorrow. Great reminder I’m available for all plaiting related jobs not just showing.

With the season around the corner I am available for

✨Show clips
✨Mane pulling
✨Feather trimming/tail clips
✨Mane and tail dying
✨Inhand handling/lessons

And more…..

Get in touch if there is something I can help you with. If it’s not listed but you need a hand don’t be afraid to reach out.

It would be great to have people following this page and making use of when Michelle is available.

I have been working with Michelle at a couple of the yearling sales this year and she is not only a great person but a super horse woman. Affordable, reliable and someone who has a deep passion for helping horses.

My drive and passion in the Equine insustry is to maintain fluidity and movement. To help optmise recovery from injury or stress and to maximise function and performance through muscle release and natural joint articulation and balancing.
Soft tissue plays an important part and it's all connected, but sometimes a small movement on the joints an deep ligaments can have a great effect on the whole body.
The horses process these treatments and after letting the body move and relax their appreciation is the most rewarding.

Merry Christmas team, from my family to yours. What a busy season it has been and I’m super thankful for the continuous support from regular clients and new. Have a great day!

Bit of housekeeping ahead…

With there still being a few shows left of the year and bookings flying in for the SI Premier Show just wanted to note a few things.

Payment is to be made on the day in cash or prior via bank transfer. I don’t have the time to be chasing payments. I am happy to provide an invoice receipt.

Please let me know prior if your horses mane isn’t pulled and you need me to pull it. I do charge extra and it does take me longer, when I have a full day of plaiting I don’t always have time to fit this in.

Any special requests please also touch base with me prior I will always do what I can to accomodate.

As always thank you to my loyal clients and I look forward to meeting new ones.

Just a few photos from Amberley A&P and this past weekend. Some results from a lovely repeat client from Amberley where I did its forelock, tail and a couple false plaits.

This lovely black mare was another happy client that I plaited while the owner was busy at work. I’m now up in Auckland at the Ready to Run sales and I will be back for Friday and Saturday of show week if anyone needs a hand. Also taking bookings for Courtney A&P.

It feels like tail plaits are making a comeback and as much as my hands disagree I love the look of them. I remembered to get a pic of these 2 that I prepped for Amberley A&P today.

I also love receiving photos, feedback and hearing about how your day goes. So thankful to have a lovely client send me these pictures of her guy and their results from Ashburton A&P.

Best of luck to everyone competing for the rest of the weekend.

Great weekend at Rangiora A&P. Very lucky the weather was on our side for Friday and Saturday. A big thank you to all my lovely clients this weekend and congratulations to you all, if anyone has any photos from the weekend please drop them in the comments.

I juggled leading my own mare at her first show and led a lovely wee Gypsy Cob X too. Six tails plaited this weekend, quarter markers and makeup.

If you are in need of anything for Ashburton or Amberley A&P don’t be afraid to get in touch as I still have limited available.
