Minimal Design

Minimalist design meets smart transformation
Here is Option 01 for our Wānaka project. This concept retains more of the original home while making two strong architectural statements:
▪️ Large sliding timber shutters for shade, privacy, and texture.
▪️ A bold new entryway that redefines the house's arrival and façade.
Clean, functional, and grounded. What do you think of this approach?

Building on rock at Canyon View Domes. Formwork is complete and steel is tied in for the foundation pads, ready for the concrete pour.
Even though these initial photos of wooden boxes and rebar are not looking super exciting, there is absolutely amazing work from the entire building site crew behind this to get them anchored and leveled with precision on this challenging cliff face. We are thrilled to see the next stage of progress.

We recently created this experimental alteration design for our lovely clients. While they ultimately decided to scale back the renovation and move in a simpler direction, it was an important part of the journey - helping our clients explore bold new possibilities, better understand their needs, refine their spatial ideas, and clearly define the right scope for their project.

The design process is all about discovery.

A look back at a development we visualised a few months ago.

These photorealistic renders helped the developer sell multiple units before construction had even begun—showing the real value of bringing a project to life early.

Sell the vision before you build it.

This complex coastal development involved intricate structural engineering, detailed compliance work, and extensive visual modeling. While it ultimately won't be built as designed, we remain incredibly proud of the comprehensive design & technical work our team produced.
A special thanks to OCO Architecture for their cooperation on this conceptual journey.

We are pleased to share the completion of our conceptual architectural design for an exotic-themed commercial development, centered on ultra-comfortable, high-end accommodation units.
Designed to balance technical rigor with visual storytelling, the concept serves a dual purpose: establishing a clear framework for the technical team to prepare building consent documentation, while providing an evocative narrative to captivate prospective buyers.
Delivered to the full satisfaction of our client, setting a strong design foundation for the next phase of realization.

Starting new projects in our favourite locations never gets boring.

We might not be a specialized interior design studio, but we never say no to a good creative challenge! For our latest project, we set out to build a clean, functional space brought to life with simple, vibrant pops of color.
Every time we step into the interior world, we’re amazed by how fast the industry evolves. Between high-tech finishes and endless new materials, the possibilities are wild - sometimes almost too many to choose from!
