A little detail that makes a big difference ✨
We had our timber flooring curve into the carpet in the lounge, giving us a hard-wearing timber area where we come in from outside, while also creating a really nice shape through the room.

From plans to a place that feels like home 🩵
Every material choice in this kitchen had to do two jobs: fit the design brief..and survive real life !
The benchtop is Staron Terrazzo Bologna - which is an acrylic solid surface. It gave us something stone couldn’t at this budget - the exact shape and profile we wanted, hand-sanded into a soft 80mm bullnose on the island and 40mm through the rest of the kitchen
Major perks of this benchtop - it is non-porous and is easily repairable. Nothing soaks in, and if it ever marks, it sands back to like-new.
We really wanted to use every last bit of our slabs - What was left over became the trim above the splashback tiles and a nib shelf above our cooktop.
