FRESCA WANAKA IS HIRING - Immediate start

Fresca makes fresh, handmade pasta every day. We're a small, busy team serving good food at a fair price, and everything is made in-house. We're after someone to join us for the summer season.

The role:

* Full-time, around 38 hours per week
* Fixed roster, so you'll know your hours and days in advance
* Fixed-term from ASAP until 31 March 2027, covering our peak summer season [Duties, e.g. pasta production, batch cooking and prep, serving customers, keeping the kitchen clean and running smoothly]

You'll be

* Reliable, on time, and happy working in a fast-paced kitchen
* A team player with a positive attitude
* Keen to learn. Hospitality experience is a bonus, but we'll train the right person
* Available for the full season through to the end of March

What we offer

* $26.5 per hour +8% holiday pay
* Consistent hours on a fixed roster
* Staff meals [if applicable]
* A friendly, hands-on team and the chance to learn fresh pasta making

CHEF DE PARTIE — FRESCA PASTA KITCHEN (WĀNAKA)
Full‑time • Starts early October • 6‑month minimum • Sponsorship pathway available

Fresca Wānaka is a casual, fast‑paced pasta eatery and we’re looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. You’ll oversee daily food production, keep recipes consistent, support prep, and step up to lead staff and operations when the Manager is away.

You bring:
- NZQCF Level 5–6 Cookery Diploma *or* 3+ years relevant experience
- Strong CDP skills and confidence running a station
- Flexibility and calm teamwork
- Solid food safety knowledge
- Reliability, kindness, and pride in your work
- Interest in fresh pasta and simple Italian flavours
- Minimum 6‑month commitment
- Long‑term potential (sponsorship pathway may be explored)
