Featherston Memorial RSA

111 years ago on 8 August 1915 two columns of the NZ Infantry Brigade attacked and occupied Chunuk Bair, on the Gallipoli Peninsula. This was the highest point the Kiwis would occupy during the Gallipoli campaign. By the time they were relieved that evening only 70 of the Battalions 760 men were still standing.

What an amazing event the Matahiwi wine tasting was last Saturday, Featherston Memorial RSA / The Last Post Restaurant & Bar!!

Everyone got to taste a wide variety of their amazing wines, and even a Port!! All accompanied with cheese and pate.

We've received amazing feedback and will be locking another one in soon!
