Don't forget the Old Timers weekend kicking off tomorrow with Westport GOLF CLUB and the hospitality tent with BRU at the game on Saturday! If you plan on coming along to the tent just give us a heads up here!

Bit of a special collab with our friends at Westport GOLF CLUB for Round 8 of the Heartland Championship! ⛳️🏉

We’re calling on our Old Timers to come together for a weekend of golf, rugby… or both!

The crew at Westport Golf Club are doing the heavy lifting really, with plenty planned to fill your weekend. Meanwhile, we’ll make sure you’re comfortable, refreshed and protected from the elements at the game on Saturday, before heading back to the aftermatch for a bit more socialising 🍻

What more could you want?!

So, whether you’ve been around the BRU crew for a long time or a short time, we’d love to host you next weekend.
All past players are welcome!

Just RSVP and let us know what you’re joining us for:

⛳️ Golf – Andy
🏉 Rugby – Stacey

We’ll get you sorted!

Tag an old teammate who needs to dust off the clubs (or just come along for the rugby and refreshments 😉).

BULLER v HOROWHENUA KĀPITI
SATURDAY 3 OCTOBER
1PM | VICTORIA SQUARE

COME ON DOWN AND SUPPORT OUR TEAM 🫶

Found a beauty of a picture circa 2015 with the caption "BULLER 4 LIFE" I wonder if 11 years ago this young chap thought he'd be pulling on the red & blue for a first class milestone this weekend. Who is it & how many caps!?

The Buller Under 16s head away to Christchurch on Saturday 3 October, for the South Island tournament.

After two tough away games against Marlborough and Nelson, the boys finished their lead-in games by hosting West Coast in Westport this weekend. They completed their final preparations with a captain’s run on Friday night before spending some time together over a feed.

Saturday brought cold and very wet conditions, but the lads still played some good footy and did well to come away with a strong 29–17 win.

After the game, both teams came together for an aftermatch at the Westport Rugby Clubrooms. The squad then stayed on for a couple of hours of team games and bonding.

A lot of work has gone into preparing this squad. They are a good group with plenty of talent and are looking forward to seeing what they can do at tournament.

Congratulations to the lads below that have made the South Island Boys Tournament team!
